On February 8th 2011 I Marcos Mendosa had the privileage of making a special appearance on Rogers morning show Daytime TV. The show was a complete success! We discussed the release of my highly anticipated EP release, “How I Did It’.
The energy was awesome, the questions were great, and the performance was a lot of fun. This was my first official appearance on TV so I was very excited to experience this.
I’d have to say that the best part of the experience was watching the show after! I stuck around the Rogers Studio until they aired the show. Watching it back on their massive plasma was definitely interesting.
I had the opportunity to meet 2 very talented songwriters in the green room. Lily Ostos, a Canadian singer/songwriter from Colombia, and Pat Kelly an American Singer/Songwriter from Brooklyn, NY. Both artists have incredible talents and I was very happy to have shared mine with them.
All in all the show was a lot of fun. Thank you to the entire Rogers staff for their generosity and kindness.
To see Marcos Mendosa’s interview, fast forward to 41:00 minutes
It’s funny how things happen so quickly. It started off with an idea to use a Lamborghini for my 3rd music video. I had a contact through Scruples Salon & Spa who knew the owner of Popeyes Supplements in Woodbridge. I knew the owner had an Electric Blue Lambo that I absolutely loved. So I asked my contact to ask the owner of Popeyes if I can use it for my music video. Unfortunately I couldn’t get in contact with my link, so I assumed that the owner of the Lamborghini said no.
3 weeks later I was entering into an Esso Gas Station in Woodbridge, Ontario and I saw the exact same blue Lamborghini exiting the car wash. I immediately pulled over my Jeep and stood outside the exit of the car wash waiting patiently for this beautiful piece of machinery to roll out.
I noticed that the driver was the person that I’ve been trying to get a hold of all this time. What luck! I introduced myself and explained my ideas. It turns out that he had told my contact that he would be more than happy to help me out by allowing me to use his Lamborghini! I was thrilled!
A couple weeks later I met with the owner of Popeyes to do a private performance and he was impressed! I performed songs such as:
Drake feat Marcos Mendosa and Royal Roach – Forever
Young Dude 2010 – Marcos Mendosa
You My Sweety – Marcos Mendosa feat MJD
He was blown away! The owner instantly offered me some help. He mentioned that he was going to be doing a live to air broadcast from his store on Sunday October 3rd and he would like me to write a 30 second ad promoting the store. So I did just that!

After my performance the amount of support that I received was overwhelming. Thank you to all the fans, supporters, and silent voices out there who have been watching and listening all these years. You inspire me to keep going.
8 years ago I said ” i’m gonna be on z103.5″ by the time i’m 25. 8 years later with no representation, no label, no publicist, no manager, no nothing…bang… made it happen…
I’d like you to all to take that statement and use it to your advantage. What the mind can believe it can achieve.

A couple weeks back the Hip Hop and R&B star Chris Brown, released a song called Deuces feat Tyga and Kevin McCall. Royal Roach and I decided to do a remix.
The video was shot in a park near my house. I wanted to stay shy from the usual hip hop video locations. I wanted to give the viewers a sense of sensibility when they blend the lyrics and locations for the video. I hope you enjoy it. Click the YouTube Link and enjoy it in HD!
