A Great Song: DRAMATIC EVENTS ( THE GOOD DIE YOUNG )
I would like to share with you a song.
I performed this song this past Saturday November 28th 2009 at a show called Go Hard or Go Home 5 sponsored by the famous Death Row Records. This was the first time that I performed this song live!
I really enjoyed myself. The song has a special meaning to it. You can hear it by going to www.myspace.com/mendosamusiconline

Now that you have heard the song, here’s what I have to say about it.
At the time that I was writing it, I felt very alone, very betrayed, and very tired of my environment. I wrote it behind a shopping plaza in my Jeep. It was one of those nights where I wanted to call up a friend and talk, but there was no one to call. I had a long list of people on my contact list, but majority of the them were people that I didn’t feel I could connect with.
There was an incident that happened the night before I wrote this song, that made me question my surroundings.
I began to think about what truly makes a good friend. Then I started listing the people who I considered good friends, and started weighing out my options. Is this person loyal? Is that person fair? Does this person care about our friendship the way I do? Will this person be here for me if I ever need them? Can I trust this person?
It’s true what they say, Music Is Therapy. By writing, recording, performing, and listening to this song, I feel much better about myself and my actions towards what had happened.
I hope you enjoy this special song.
